This program has given me community support from other women who truly understand where I’m coming from and are also seeking growth and change. The power of peer support in this group is unlike anything I’ve ever experienced. It’s provided me with regular access to a coach, peer support, endless content, and a deep dive into emotional sobriety teachings. I love how flexible the program is – it fits into my life and is something I’m always working on. This program helps develop a mindset that leads to lasting lifestyle and habit changes in both thoughts and feelings. Emotional sobriety isn’t a diet; it’s a lifestyle and life skill that needs to be learned.

This program taught me how to actually implement self care beyond mani/pedis and spas. It’s about boundaries. It’s about learning how to say no and realizing what we actually like and don’t like. It’s about learning how to be present in our own bodies.

I finally FEEL that connection. It only took hearing “it’s not about the alcohol” 47,000 times for me to go, “ohhhhhhh, so what you are saying is, it isn’t about the alcohol.” It is sinking in and light bulbs are going off. Emotional sobriety is becoming my new truth and belief system, and I can feel a shift as my old beliefs are being chipped away – like old chewed bubblegum under the table. I keep having “ah-ha!” moments where things are clicking into place. I’m changing and growing every day, and I’m psyched, pumped, and ready to keep exploring and learning with all these beautiful, loving, and intelligent women by my side.

Colleen is like my detox doula. She has been there and done that – so just follow her advice, and you will get through it! Every day you will see changes, shifts, and have lightbulb moments.

This program gives you hope and turns the usual discussion around alcohol use disorder on its head. There’s no villain in the story – just a new, refreshing way of thinking.

I am down 10 pounds. I am doing Orange Theory for exercise and eating super clean. All these things are keeping me focused, and my drinking has dropped dramatically. It feels great. All the work I did listening to Colleen’s calls and coursework gave me inner strength and helped me shake the shame I’ve felt from drinking too much for so long.

If I could give anyone any advice on starting their journey with TNC, it would be that just listening and absorbing – and realizing that this is not a straight line – is the way to go. For some concepts, I had to go back and listen a couple of times. Now that I’m four months into my journey, the change I’ve noticed most is that I like me. I’m finding that I enjoy socializing, even without alcohol, which is huge for me.

I’ve turned the corner, and I just love The Next Chapter so much. I wouldn’t have been able to do it without every single level of this program. TNC is flexible, and it caters to every learning style and modality. I’m so grateful. I’m ready to keep going. This works.
